Northwest Wingless Tour Back At CGS On Saturday June 27th

Cottage Grove, Oregon- The Northwest Wingless Tour is raring to get back to green flag racing this Saturday June 27th. It will be the third different venue in as many weeks for the Wingless Warriors. It also marks the second occasion in 2015 that the NWWT has visited the historic 1/4-mile clay oval. Regulars of the Oregon Double Shot Series are also expected to be in attendance to make for a great car count.

Tim Alberding leads the win chart in the current season with two victories in his last two starts. Mike Romig and Kyle Miller already have won once with Miller's victory being produced the last time the series was at CGS on May 9th.

Twenty-one total NWWT sanctioned races have occurred at CGS since the series was formed in 2009. Kyle Miller has a firm grip of the win list with fourteen triumphs. Kyler Barraza is the only other multi-race winner with two while Roger Crockett, Dale Smith, Kyle Mehner, Colin Baker, and Jesse Thistle have won once.

Admission prices are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $10.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $5.00, and 5 & Under FREE. Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Qualifying 5:30, and Racing begins right around 6:45.
