20TH ANNIVERSARY SOS SEASON BEGINS THIS WEEKEND!

The Southern Ontario Sprints are set to kick off the 20th anniversary season this Victoria Day long weekend at Brighton Speedway and Humberstone Speedway.

When the green flag flies at Brighton Speedway this Saturday, May 16th, it will start the race to the 2015 championship for the longest running sprint car series in Canada, the Southern Ontario Sprints.

The level of competition will be in high gear as the drivers of the SOS return to action. Look for former Brighton Speedway winners Glenn Styres, Chris Jones, Warren Mahoney and Mitch Brown to be mixing it up with those looking for their first trip to victory lane at Brighton, such as Bob Crawford, Paul Pekkonen and Jamie Turner

Sunday May 17th the traveling SOS series will make the trip west around Lake Ontario to Port Colborne, Ontario to compete at Humberstone Speedway for the first of two stops there in 2015. Chris Steele was the last driver to wheel into victory lane with the SOS at Humberstone Speedway and this year could feature once again a suprise name in victory lane with a number of drivers not regular with the SOS looking to make a run. The SOS will make a second visit to Humberstone Speedway later in the season on August 9th as well in a second double header weekend with Brighton Speedway.

Reminder, scoring transponders are mandatory for all cars in 2015.

Helmets must be worn at all times when on ATV's at Brighton Speedway.
