Sodus, NY – After losing last Friday night’s event to Mother Nature, the SuperGen Products with Champion Power Equipment CRSA Sprint Car Series returns to action this Saturday night at the Woodhull Raceway. The event will serve as round number three for the series and will be the only visit to the high banked facility this season.
One year ago Tyler Boniface bested a 23-car field to bring home the 25 lap A-Main win over eventual series champion Jeff Trombley, Geoff Quackenbush, Kyle Smith and Brett Jaycox.
Trombley was victorious in round number two of the 2018 CRSA season at the Land of Legends Raceway on May 26th. Trombley claimed the win over a talented 22 car field. Darryl Ruggles of Canandaigua finished second with David Ferguson third, Erik Karlsen fourth and Thomas Radivoy fifth. Heat races were won by Dan Bennett, Ferguson and Ruggles.
Radivoy enters round three with a slim three-point advantage over Trombley. Connecticut’s Sydney Prince is third (-15), Hackel fourth (-40) and Tyler Jashembowski (-40) fifth.
The Woodhull Raceway is located at 2142 County Rte 102 in Woodhull, New York. The track is right off Rt. 417. For more information on the Woodhull Raceway log onto their website at www.woodhullraceway.com.
