Inside Line Promotions – WICHITA FALLS, Texas (May 14, 2019) – Harli White heads to Michigan this weekend on the heels of a podium finish.

White charged from fifth to win a heat race before she captured a runner-up result last Saturday at Monarch Motor Speedway during a Sprint Bandits Series show.

“I was trying to take the lead when I got collected in a lapped car spinning and had to go to the back of the field,” she said. “That was about halfway. There were a lot of cautions and red flags. The main deal was avoiding wrecks. I slowly creeped my way up there. The track was one lane so by the time I got up there we ran out of laps. It was really hard to pass. I feel like we should have won, but it wasn’t our time.”

The stout rebound capped a weekend that began the previous night at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla., where White maneuvered from seventh to fifth place in an ASCS Sooner Region heat race before she won the B Main. Unfortunately, White was involved in an opening-lap incident that ended her night early with a 20th-place result.

“I slowed down because I saw a spinning car and we got smoked from behind,” she said. “With all the damage we pulled in and called it a night.”

Next up is White’s debut in Michigan this Friday and Saturday when the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour visits I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa.

“It looks like a really racy, faster track,” said White, who noted she’d seen a video of the oval. “The locals there are pretty tough as well. It’ll be interesting to see how many cars we have. We’ll race hard and see what happens.

“One of the fun things about racing the ASCS National Tour is you get to go to new tracks. It’s fair game for everyone so that evens the playing field. Plus, it’s good to hit new tracks to get our name out there as well as ASCS. Hopefully that opens doors for other tracks to book races in the future.”

White will have merchandise available for sale at the RacinBoys apparel trailer at all Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour events. She also has some merchandise available at her race trailer.
