Darland scores Oval Nationals prelim victory

PHOTO CREDIT: Ken Simon (Perris, CA) — Dave Darland captured night 2 honors at the 21st Annual Budweiser Oval Nationals Friday night at Perris Auto Speedway. Darland passed Chad Boespflug on lap 16 of the 30-lap main and led the rest of the way. Richaed Vander Weerd finished second ahead of Brady Bacon as Chris Windom and Brody Roa rounded out the top-five.
