25 and Counting for United Rebel Sprint Series in 2022

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (December 23, 2021) - 25 dates and still more coming for the Drive to Zero United Rebel Sprint Series presented by Mel Hambelton Ford Racing in 2022.

Series Director, Rick Salem has released the first batch of dates for the upcoming season.

“We are pleased with the schedule Rick has provided to us so far for 2022.” commented URSS Series Co-Owner, Terry Mattox. “With more dates on the way, we feel that Kerry (Gorby) and I’s first season as owners is going to be a big one.”

The Rebels will begin their campaign on April 8-9 at Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kansas.

El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Colorado will host a single night of competition on April 23.

Breaking new ground, the United Rebel Sprint Series will face off against their sister Oil Capital Racing Series at Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kansas on May 7.

Another North vs. South Civil War is set for May 21 as the URSS takes on OCRS at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas.

The I-70 305 Nationals will take place over Memorial Day Weekend on May 27-28 at I-70 Speedway in Odessa, Missouri.

Oberlin Speedway will host three appearances in 2022 on June 10 followed by August 12 and 13 for the Bob Salem Memorial.

North Platte’s Lincoln County Speedway will host the Rebels on one appearance on June 11.

Back to Dodge City Raceway Park on June 18 followed by two more stops on July 22-23.

81 Speedway will host the Rebels again on July 2 and August 20.

Belleville High Banks will play host to the URSS Sprints on three occasions. First up on Sunday, July 3 followed by the Belleville 305 Nationals on August 5-6.

RPM Speedway in Hays, Kansas is set to host a two day Rebel event on July 16-17.

Rush County Speedway in Lacrosse, Kansas is set for the URSS to invade on July 29-30.

Fairbury, Nebraska’s Jefferson County Speedway returns to the Rebel schedule on Fri. Sept. 16 followed by Thayer County Speedway in Deshler, Nebraska on Saturday, Sept. 17

Scheduling is still in progress. More dates will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.
