Hill Tackling NRA Sprint Invaders Tripleheader in Ohio This Weekend

Inside Line Promotions – SIX NATIONS, Ontario, Canada (May 21, 2018) – Alex Hill enjoyed a weekend off from racing by starting her journey home after completing her freshman year at California State University in Los Angeles.

“I’m really happy to be done with school for now and I’m excited about returning home and focusing on racing,” said Hill, who left California with her mother last Saturday and expects to arrive at her home in Ontario on Wednesday. “The last month was a little tough flying back and forth from Los Angeles to races each weekend. But it’s worth it and I’m glad I have the opportunity to do that.”

With the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by SawBlade.com off the next two weeks, Hill plans to race three nights with the K&L Ready Mix NRA Sprint Invaders in Ohio this Friday at Limaland Motorsports Park in Lima, Saturday at Fremont Speedway in Fremont and Sunday at Waynesfield Raceway Park in Waynesfield.

“I’m familiar with all three tracks, although I’m not sure if I’ve raced at Waynesfield,” she said. “I may have just watched there. Limaland is a fun track, kind of a little bullring. I raced pretty decent the last time I was there so I’m hoping to do well again or improve on that this time.

“I haven’t raced a 360 at Fremont, just a 305. But I raced there a lot a couple of years ago so I’m pretty familiar with it.”

Following the weekend in Ohio, Hill is looking forward to hitting the road and traveling with her team for an extended period of time.

“We’re planning to go to Knoxville the following Saturday and then onto Texas from there for the ASCS races,” she said. “We plan to be on the road for about a month and a half. I’m really looking forward to it.”
