Inside Line Promotions – HAGERSTOWN, Md. (Sept. 24, 2019) – Greg Wilson will wrap up the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions season this Saturday at one of his favorite tracks.

Wilson and his Hercules Tires, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics and Gear Off Road backed team enter the event at Eldora Speedway near Rossburg, Ohio, ranked sixth in the championship standings.

“We’ve been having some car or engine issues the last few weeks so I’m hoping that we figure some stuff out,” he said. “We’re going to the engine dyno tomorrow. We worked on our car last week. I was excited for four nights in Central Pennsylvania, yet we struggled. Hopefully we’ll learn a lot at the dyno that will help us.”

Wilson plans to kick off the weekend by competing at Eldora Speedway on Friday with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink before the All Star season concludes at the half-mile oval on Saturday.

“Eldora has been one of our better tracks so that’s always a confidence boost when you roll through the gates,” he said. “If the track is wide and racy we seem to find ourselves toward the front by the end of the night.”

Wilson is coming off a four-race weekend that featured mixed results. His best outing occurred on Thursday with a charge from 16th to 11th during the Kevin Gobrecht Classic at BAPS Motor Speedway in York Haven, Pa.

“We fell back to last after about wrecking on the first lap,” he said. “We passed four or five cars and then some guys wrecked. We weren’t bad at the end of the race and we got back in there toward the top 10. We had a decent finish for pretty much starting the race last.”

Wilson ended in the B Main on Friday at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pa., and on Sunday at Hagerstown Speedway. A rally from 27th to 19th on Saturday during the Dirt Classic hosted by Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pa., was sandwiched in the middle.

“We weren’t too bad early in the race at Lincoln, but the track got rubber down pretty quick and it was hard to make up spots,” he said. “I think we could have ended up better if the track stayed racy longer, but in the end we were buried in the field by our struggles anyway.”
