Dancer Doing Double Duty at Eldora Speedway Saturday During All Star and NRA Sprint Invaders Season Finale

Inside Line Promotions – ROSSBURG, Ohio (Oct. 9, 2017) – Shawn Dancer will be pulling double duty this Saturday at Eldora Speedway, where he will compete in 410ci winged sprint car competition with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions and in 360ci winged sprint car action with the NRA Sprint Invaders.

“We’re going to stay around here and race at Eldora this weekend and I’m pretty excited to be running both the 360ci and the 410ci sprint cars,” he said. “I’m looking forward to getting back into the 360 with the guys at Eldora. It’s been a while.”

Dancer hasn’t run his 360 sprint car at Eldora Speedway for a couple of months. He’s hoping to use knowledge gained since that last start to his advantage to score a top-five finish with the NRA Sprint Invaders.

“With the 410, I’m hoping to make the A Main and possibly get a top 10,” he said. “Hopefully we’ve learned from our mistakes the last couple of times we’ve been there with the 410 and we can do better than we did last time we were at Eldora.”

Dancer competed at Eldora Speedway two weeks ago. A mechanical problem when the water pump and fuel pump broke ended his night early on Sept. 22 during the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series portion of the weekend.

He returned to the half-mile oval the following night and qualified fifth quickest in his group before placing fifth in a heat race. Dancer capped the night with a 25th-place result in the All Star A Main.

“Overall, we’re just hoping for a weekend full of good racing and tough completion,” he said. “I think there’s going to be a great turnout as long as the weather holds up. It’s going to be a fun time.”
