Brandon Wimmer- Race Plans in 2016 Still Taking Shape!
Fairmount, Indiana’s Brandon Wimmer has race plans in 2016, but is looking to add to his schedule. He has commitments with two teams, one in the Wisconsin area and one in southern Ohio, but he is also looking for a ride for some of the bigger events.
Brandon will team with Chris Hartnell and the Hartnell Motorsports Custom Diecast #48 car for around fifteen events in the Wisconsin area. That schedule will include shows with the World of Outlaws, All Stars and the IRA.
“I’m excited to be teaming up with Chris Hartnell,” says Brandon. “Chris has fielded a competitive team for quite a few years now, and you know every time you hit the track that you are going to have some good equipment underneath you.”
Brandon will also team with John Shewbrook and his #67 in southern Ohio. That schedule will include 10-15 events. “We teamed up several times last year,” says Brandon. “John is a great guy and he has a solid team. We’ll race mostly around Atomic Speedway.”
Though he is paired with some solid teams, Brandon would still like to hook up with someone to run the bigger shows. “I’d really like to find a ride for the King’s Royal, Ohio Speedweek and the Knoxville Nationals,” he says.
Brandon’s first event looks to be the All Star Circuit of Champions event at Atomic Speedway Saturday, April 2.
Hartnell Motorsports would like to thank SFR Painting and Staining, Pure Air Heating and Air Conditioning, Trinity Homes and May Roofing.
Brandon would like to thank his own long-term partners Simpson Racing Products, Butlerbuilt Professional Seat Systems and All Star Performance.
