At a Glance: Kasey’s King of Sedalia, Huset’s Speedway & North Central Speedway

WHAT
• A busy stretch continues for the World of Outlaws this week as the series will race three times in a five-day period. The trio of races kicks off on Tuesday, June 29 at Missouri State Fair Speedway for the third round of the Showdown for the Bud Crown, Kasey’s King of Sedalia Presented By Budweiser, which was postponed by rain back on June 16. The series then heads north to Huset’s Speedway in South Dakota on Thursday, July 1. The week wraps up at North Central Speedway in Brainerd, Minnesota on Saturday, July 3. Joey Saldana, who is seeking his first title, leads the series into Sedalia, with Steve Kinser right behind him, only 31 markers out of the top spot, as he chases his record 21st title. Kinser was victorious on Saturday night in the World of Outlaws return to Lakeside Speedway. Jason Meyers is currently third in points, with Donny Schatz fourth and Jason Sides fifth.
WHEN
•On Tuesday, June 29 at Missouri State Fair Speedway, the pit gates will open at 1 p.m. Central, with the grandstand gates opening at 5 p.m. Central and hot laps are set for 7 p.m. Central with time trials to follow.

•On Thursday, July 1 at Huset’s Speedway, the pit gates will open at 1 p.m. Central, with the grandstand gates opening at 5 p.m. Central. Racing is set for 8 p.m. Central.

•On Saturday, July 3 at North Central Speedway, the pit gates will open at 2 p.m. Central, with the grandstand gates opening at 4 p.m. Central and hot laps are set for 6 p.m. Central with time trials to follow. Racing is set for 7:30 p.m. Central.

WHERE
•Missouri State Fair Speedway is located in Sedalia, Missouri, ½ mile south of US 50 on US 65, then west (Missouri State Fairgrounds).

• Huset’s Speedway is located in Brandon, South Dakota. Take I-90 east of Sioux Falls to exit 406, then go south three miles on SR 11.

•North Central Speedway is located in Brainerd, Minnesota, 5 miles south of town on Business 371.

TICKETS
•On Tuesday, June 29 at Missouri State Fair Speedway, Reserved tickets are $29 for adults in advance and $35 the day of the race, with tickets for Children (12-under) $9 when purchased in advance. General Admission tickets for adults will be $29 in advance for and $35 the day of the race, with general admission tickets for Children (6-12) $9. Children ages 6-under will be admitted free of charge in the general admission section. Tickets from the postponed show on June 16 will be honored on June 29. Fans who purchased pit passes need to bring their wristbands June 29 to exchange for new wristbands that night. Ticket questions can be answered by calling World Racing Group at 704-795-7223.

•On Thursday, July 1 at Huset’s Speedway, tickets for adults will be $35, with tickets for juniors (ages 8-14) just $5. Tickets will be available at the track box office in advance and on race day. For more information on tickets visit www.husets-speedway.com or call the track at 605-582-3536.

•On Saturday, July 3 at North Central Speedway, general admission tickets will be $30 for adults in advance and $35 the day of the race, with general admission tickets for children ages 6-12 $15, while kids five-under admitted free of charge in the general admission section. Adult reserved tickets will be $33 in advance and $35 the day of the race, with reserved tickets for children ages 12-under $15 in advance and $15 the day of the race. •Missouri State Fair Speedway is a semi-banked half-mile oval. The track record of 15.676 seconds was established by Craig Dollansky on March 23, 2001.

•Huset’s Speedway is a high-banked 3/8-mile oval. The track record of 10.317 seconds was established by Terry McCarl on May 10, 2009.

•North Central Speedway is a high-banked 1/3--mile oval. The track record of 12.820 seconds at 93.510 mph was established by Jason Meyers on Octobe3 3, 2008.
