At a Glance: World of Outlaws at Dodge City Raceway Park
Concord, NC—June 8, 2010—
WHAT
•The World of Outlaws continue a swing through the Heartland this week with a stop at Dodge City Raceway Park in Kansas on Friday, June 11 and Saturday, June 12 for two full nights of racing as Boot Hill Casino & Resort Presented the Boot Hill Showdown. Following a pair of events at the famed Knoxville Raceway in Iowa last weekend, Joey Saldana remains the series championship point leader. The second generation driver was victorious both nights at Dodge City Raceway Park last season and has four career triumphs at the state-of-the-art facility. Jason Meyers, who is currently second in points and leads the series in wins this season, is also a former winner at Dodge City, taking the checkered flag at the high-banked 3/8-mile in 2007. Steve Kinser, the 20-time World of Outlaws champion, who is third in points, won at Dodge City in the series debut at the track in 2004, while his teammate, four-time and defending series champion Donny Schatz won there in 2008. Danny Lasoski, the 2001 World of Outlaws titlist, was victorious at Dodge City in 2005.
WHEN
•On Friday, June 11 at Dodge City Raceway Park, the pit gates will open at 3 p.m. Central, with the grandstand gates opening at 5 p.m. Central and hot laps are set for 6 p.m. Central with time trials to follow.

• Dodge City Raceway Park is located in Dodge City, Kansas. Take U.S. 283 to the southern edge of Dodge City, go 0.9 miles west on U.S. 56, then 0.1 mile south.
