Saturday Night Under the Lights
Sauk Rapids (May 12, 2018) – Remember to take your mother to her favorite race track this weekend for her Mothers’ Day celebrations. From test and tunes to racing under the lights, WISSOTA country has a busy Saturday night ahead. Ogilvie Raceway, Jamestown Speedway, Rice Lake Speedway, and Viking Speedway are just a few of the WISSOTA member tracks scheduled to run this evening. Remember that you can find a full list of current tracks running in your All The Dirt! Racing News, or you can search by track on your MyRacePass app. Here are two tracks that are currently scheduled to run their events tonight.
Jamestown Speedway – Jamestown, ND
Tonight, at Jamestown Speedway you will see the WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds and Street Stocks in action on the ¼ mile oval for their opening night. Nestled just outside the community of Jamestown, ND, the Jamestown Speedway has produced great WISSOTA Auto Racing events over the years. The community of Jamestown will pack the stands tonight to watch the spectacular WISSOTA drivers compete for that all elusive victory tonight at 7pm CST.
Rice Lake Speedway – Rice Lake, WI
WISSOTA Pure Stocks, Street Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Super Stocks, Modifieds, and Late Models will take to the track in Rice Lake, WI at Rice Lake Speedway tonight. The 1/3 mile oval will see Late Models for the first time this season as fans from the surrounding communities pack the grandstands to see the high powered, fine-tuned WISSOTA Auto Racing machines take to the track. This early season opportunity for drivers in the Late Model division is sure to impress. Fans be sure to get there at 5pm when the grandstand gates open. The green flag will fly over Rice Lake Speedway shortly after 6:30pm.
Mothers’ Day, on Sunday, will see tracks like Casino Speedway, Eagle Valley Speedway, and Proctor Speedway all racing under the lights. Surprise your mother with a trip to the speedway nearest you.
