ASCS Southwest At Central Arizona Speedway This Saturday

Bryan Hulbert – CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (September 13, 2021) Getting back to action last weekend at Arizona Speedway, the ASCS Southwest Region will shift focus a few miles east on Saturday, September 18 with the tour returning to Central Arizona Speedway in Casa Grande.

Located between Tucson and Phoenix on the Pinal County Fairgrounds, the high-banked three-eighths-mile oval was the site of the 2021 opener on February 20, with California’s Justin Sanders taking the win.

Looking to this Saturday’s showdown, the Rock ‘N Roll Rumble presented by Sands Chevrolet; the series enters with a new points leader as New Mexico’s Wes Wofford lead by 43 over Arizona’s J.T. Imperial. Third is currently Eric Wilkins, with Colton Hardy and Logan Calderwood making up the top five.

Saturday, September 18 at Central Arizona Speedway opens at 5:00 P.M. with action on track at 7:00 P.M. (MT). Joining the ASCS Southwest Region will be Power 600 Series Micros, Pure Stocks, and Bombers. Admission is $20 with kids 11 and under free into the Grandstands. Pits are $35 with kids six and under free.
