ASCS Elite Non-Wing Series Invading Arkansas This Friday and Saturday

Bryan Hulbert – LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (June 8, 2021) Taking in two night of racing in Arkansas this weekend, the ASCS Elite Non-Wing Series presented by Abilene Powder Coating will invade Crowleys Ridge Raceway in Paragould on Friday, June 11, and then I-30 Speedway in Little Rock on Saturday, June 12.

No Fender Friday at Crowleys Ridge, the night’s lineup of classes includes Winged and Non-Wing Sprint Cars as the ASCS Mid-South Region will also be on hand along with MSCA 305 Sprints and Midgets. Taking place almost a year to the day since their visit to Crowleys Ridge, the event was topped by Tennessee’s Anthony Nicholson, who made the last-lap pass on Justin Zimmerman.

Friday opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing set to go green at 7:30 P.M. (CT). Admission is $20 for adults, $10 for youth 6-13, and kids five and under free. The third trip to I-30 Speedway, Zach Pringle took the inaugural checkered flag in 2019. Going to Tim Crawley in 2020, the series welcomed a field of 23 competitors at last year’s event. Saturday at the Little Rock oval opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 7:30 P.M. (CT). Other classes on the card include IMCA Modifieds, Cadillac Chassis IMCA Stock Cars, Micros, Steel Block Late Models. Admission is $20 for adults with kids 12 and under admitted free, thanks to Barnhart Heat & Air.

The 2021 season marks the 30th year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, the ASCS Nation also includes 11 Regional Tours that encompass both wing and non-wing competition.
