ASCS Sooner and Warrior Regions Headed For Nevada Speedway

Bryan Hulbert – NEVADA, Mo. (August 25, 2020) Debuting at Nevada Speedway on Saturday, August 29, the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products, and Racinboys.com ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps will square off for the second time this month.

The third regional pairing of the season, the ASCS Warrior Region, is up by one after Ayrton Gennetten topped action this past weekend at Monett Motor Speedway. The season’s first showdown at Lake Ozark Speedway wentl the way of California’s finest when Dominic Scelzi garnered his second career ASCS Regional triumph.

Going into the Saturday showdown, Ayrton Gennetten has captured the last two checkered flags with the ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps. With an 88-point lead over Miles Paulus going into the weekend, the pair is still within striking distance of Austin O’Neal, who trails the lead by 120 markers with six nights left on the 2020 lineup. Gunner Ramey and Riley Goodno make up the top five.

Looking at the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products, the race is even closer with Jeremy Campbell holding a slim 13 point advantage over defending series champion, Sean McClelland. Tied for third, Brandon Anderson and Avery Goodman both sit 103 markers out of the lead with Fred Mattox in fifth.

Saturday, August 29 is offering teams a $2,000 to win, $300 to start A-Feature.

Gates open at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 7:30 P.M. (CT). Admission is $15 Adults, $10 for Seniors, and free for active Military, Veterans, and Kids 12 and under.
