Eric Riggins scores in USCS Fast Friday Live! at Carolina Speedway
Gastonia, NC - July 17, 2020 - Charlotte's Eric Riggins, Jr. made a late race pass on Kyle Amerson from Mathews, Alabama, who led the first 23 laps of the 25 lap USCS Carolina Thunder Nationals main event at Carolina Speedway on Friday night to win his career eighth USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour main event.
USCS National points leader, Mark Smith from Sunbury, PA followed the duo under the checkers in third place.
Justin Barger from Mooresville, NC was fourth and the current USCS Rookie of the Year points leader, Connor Leoffler from Myrtle Beach, SC completed the top five.
Sprint Car Hall of Famer, Danny Smith from Chillicothe, OH was sixth, Johnny Bridges and Lance Moss, both from Cherryville, NC finished seventh and eighth. 12-time USCS Champion Terry Gray from Bartlett, TN was ninth and Steve Surniak from , NC completed the top ten.
