AJ Hernandez Aces NOW600 Cactus Region at Canyon Speedway Park

PEROIA, Ariz. (March 6, 2020) - AJ Hernandez picked up his first career feature event win with the NOW600 Hi Plains Building Division Cactus Region at Canyon Speedway Park on Friday night.

Rolling from the pole of the A-Main, Hernandez topped the 14 car Non-Wing field. Drake Edwards advanced one spot to finish in the runner up spot. Paul Martin rounded out the podium. Jason Smith from eighth finished in fourth. The top five rounded out with Brandon Sutton who started in ninth.

Tuesday Calderwood was sixth, Logan Calderwood took home seventh. Eighth went to Larry Kesterson with Mark Morin and Mason Keefer making up the top ten.

Cameron La Rose and Keefer were the nights two heat race winners.

The NOW600 Cactus Region returns to action on Saturday night for the finale of the Spring Showcase which also features the USAC CRA / Southwest 410 Sprint Cars.
