TRACK CHAMPION PAPKE ENDS SEASON WITH VICTORY
It was a three car battle for the lead in the INEX Legends feature. Donavin Wiest quickly shuffled into the lead but had his hands full with a fast Preston Martin and Nate Keena. Using the high line around the track, Keena passed Martin for second and challenged Wiest for the lead. While the leaders raced door to door, it allowed the 2019 track champion, Drew Papke, to make it a three car battle for the win. Papke passed Keena for second and was all over Wiest’s rear bumper. With six laps remaining, Papke passed Wiest for the lead, bringing Keena with him. Wiest then fell into the clutches of fourth place Austin Wiest. When the checkered flag waved, Austin Wiest passed Donavin Wiest for third place. Nate Keena finished a season best of second place behind feature winner Drew Papke. Preston Martin rounded out the top five.
