MAYNARD TROYER CLASSIC 60-LAPS $6,000-TO-WIN ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 30, 2019 FOR THE RACE OF CHAMPIONS ASPHALT MODIFIED SERIES TO FEATURE TROYER MANUFACTUR

The Maynard Troyer Classic has become one of the most lucrative short track races on any Modified Series schedule. Just 60-laps in distance, $6,000-to-win, over $6,000 in lap money raised by Maynard Troyer’s son, Kenny and now Troyer Manufacturing has stepped to the plate.

Troyer Manufacturing has agreed to pay for the first 150 children through the gate on Friday, August 30, 2019 along with a TA3 chassis being awarded. The winner of the chassis will be drawn by the winner. The entire field will be eligible for the chassis drawing. There will also be a midway display from Troyer Manufacturing.

“Our goal is to keep all of Modified racing healthy,” stated Troyer Manufacturing owner, Rob Fuller. “The health of Modified racing overall regardless of the Series is very critical to our business. With the Race of Champions right here in our backyard, it provides us a tremendous opportunity to emphasize that and with this event, it really hits home and it’s going to be special. It’s an event Maynard (Troyer) would be proud of.”

Maynard Troyer is the Patriarch for the Troyer Race Car brand. Troyer had an unrivaled racing career, becoming one of the top Modified racers in the history of the sport, competing in Late Models, Super Modifieds, even a NASCAR Winston Cup Car, before creating the brand that carried his name and has defined Modified racing for decades.

The Race of Champions Late Model Series will bring Late Model racing back to action at Spencer as well as the Wilbert’s U-Pull It Super Six division to round out an exciting night of racing.

The “Food Truck Frenzy” featuring local food trucks and tastes from the area will also make its return and give fans the final opportunity of the 2019 season to take part in this unique race track food experience.
