300 Raceway Set to host “Yankee” Tune Up This Wednesday
Farley, Iowa: The 300 Raceway in Farley, Iowa is set to host the return of the sweet sound of race cars on Wednesday, August 7th. This special night of racing will serve as a tune up for the 42nd annual “Yankee Dirt Track Classic” which will be hosted at the 300 Raceway August 21st thru the 23rd. The “Yankee” will offer over $100,000 in total purse money to the very best race car drivers in the Midwest.
This Wednesday, August 7th the engines will roar to life with hot laps at 6:30 pm with racing to follow in four divisions. These four classes will also be running the “Yankee”. The Late Models will headline the racing program and will be joined by the Modifieds, SportMods and Stock Cars.
Fans are encouraged to come and take in a great night of racing which will offer a sneak preview to the “Yankee”. Wednesday night's racing program will offer a very affordable admission price of only $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors and kids under 12 will be admitted free.
