CARTER FINALLY EARNS FIRST DACOTAH SPEEDWAY VICTORY

Jason Berg grabbed the lead from pole sitter Kelly Hoerner in the WISSOTA Street Stock feature. Berg led early but had his hands full with a strong Shawn Volk and John Weber. They raced three wide for the lead which allowed Todd Carter to quickly catch the leaders. As they raced four wide for the lead, Berg got off the track in turn one. At the same moment, Jeremy Engelhardt had a nasty rollover down the backstretch. Thankfully Engelhardt was ok but when the race resumed, Berg was sent tail for originally causing the caution. Points leader Weber led the field to the restart but raced hard with Carter for the win. They raced door to door for several laps until Carter completed the pass and started to pull away. Todd Carter led the final five laps to win his first WISSOTA Street Stock feature at Dacotah Speedway. John Weber extended his points lead with his second place finish. Shawn Volk finished third ahead of Tanner Dosch and Zach Frederick.
