HOLIDAY WEEKEND TO KICK OFF RACE OF CHAMPION DIRT 602 SPORTSMAN MODIFIED SERIES PRESENTED BY PRODUCT 9 WITH EVENTS AT HUMBERSTONE AND MERRITTVILLE SPE
Over the course of the Canada Day Holiday weekend, Race of Champions 602 Dirt Sportsman Modified Series presented by Product 9 racers will have the opportunity to compete close to home, in two races, on back-to-back nights at Humberstone Speedway in Port Colborne, Ontario and Merrittville Speedway in Thorold, Ontario, with back-to-back $1,000-to-win races that kick-off the 6 race 2019 series campaign. The doubleheader weekend will fill racers and fans plates as they celebrate and enjoy a holiday weekend jam packed with exciting racing.
The Series makes its traditional Holiday weekend stop at Humberstone Speedway as part of the Canada Day $1,000-to-Win Showdown on Sunday, June 30, before moving just down the road for the Monday, July 1 Canada Day event at Merrittville Speedway.
Each track presents racers with a unique set of challenges along with solid purses for racers in their two nights of racing.
“This is an exciting series and a lot of fun,” stated Brad Rouse of Saint Catharines, Ontario, who is the defending Series champion. “We have a bunch of great racers to compete that make it very competitive. We are looking forward to getting things going and having an exciting Series. Hopefully, we can put it all together again and repeat as champions.”
Humberstone Speedway swings into action at 6:30 pm on Sunday, June 30, with Merrittville Speedway coming to life on Monday, July 1 at 7:00 pm.

Directions: The track is located is just a short drive from Niagara Falls and St. Catherines, Ontario as well as just 20-miles from downtown Buffalo and the Peace Bridge at 1716 HWY 3 in Port Colborne, Ontario.
