Hahn, Dean, Goodman, McSperitt ,and Longacre Claim Wins At Creek County Speedway

Bryan Hulbert – SPAULPA, Okla. (September 29, 2018) With Round 20 of the 2018 season in the books, Creek County Speedway saw two first time winners on the season this past Saturday night, while a trio of drivers continued to add to their win totals.

Racing to win No. 12, Austin McSperitt has taken over as the Factory Stock point’s leader by 24 markers. Each adding their second wins of the season, Brandon Dean raced from fifth to the top of the leaderboard in Modified competition while Michael Longacre garnered his second triumph of the season in Mini Stock action.

Rolling to Victory Lane for the first time this season, Blake Hahn raced the Jerry McGehee owned No. 55h to the front in Champ Sprints while Lane “Yogi” Goodman topped action is his first appearance of the year with the Dwarf/Mod600 division.

Getting close to the end of the season, only a trio of nights remain for drivers to make up as many points as possible. The closest point’s battles going into the last three rounds are Factor Stocks, where Austin McSperitt leads by 24 over Jimmy Owen. Mini Stocks has worked to a 50-point game between Leroy Burger and Michal Modifieds as Chad Davis holds a 75 point lead over Kendall Schultz. Paul York holds a comfortable 157-point lead in Dwarf competition while Travis Ashwood sits 100 markers ahead of Bailey Hughes.

Fast Five Weekly Series returns on Saturday, October 6 with Champ Sprints, Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Dwarf Cars, and Mini Stocks in action. Admission $10 for adults. Youth 11-14 get in for $6 and kids 10 and under get into the grandstands for free. Pits are $30 (under 10 years of age is $15).

Gates open at 5:00 P.M. with Hot Laps at 7:00 P.M. and Racing at 7:30 P.M.
