SAM FULLONE SCORES SECOND LATE MODEL AND JOE MANCUSO EARNS THIRD SUPER STOCK WIN AT THE TRACK @ HILLSIDE BUFFALO

Sam Fullone of North Collins, N.Y., drew the pole and shot out into the lead on the initial start and went on to his second Race of Champions Late Model Series victory of the 2018 season.

Eldon King, III of Delevan, N.Y., started third and finished second in the 30-lap dash.

Dave Whittaker or Orchard Park, N.Y. finished third.

Bob Weber of Clarence, N.Y., finished fourth and Terry Weldy of Clarence, N.Y., rounded out the top-five in the Late Model Series event.

Weber and Fullone won the qualifying races.

Joe Mancuso of Buffalo, N.Y., started third and worked his way past Tommy Barron of Ontario, N.Y., and into the lead then went on to earn his third Race of Champions Super Stock Series victory of the season.

Zach Willis of Williamson, N.Y., started and finished second.

Tim Gullo of Elmira, N.Y., held on for third at the checkered flag.

Chuck Anderson of Alden, N.Y., and Tommy Krawczyk of West Seneca, N.Y., rounded out the top-five.

Barron and Gullo won the qualifying races.

The 68th annual Race of Champions weekend will take place in 2018 at Lake Erie Speedway in North East, Pennsylvania and is the second longest consecutive auto-racing event in North America, second only to the Indianapolis 500.
