STREET STOCKS HAVE BONUSES ADDED TO FRIDAY NIGHT PROGRAM AT SPENCER SPEEDWAY
The Street Stock division has had two substantial bonuses added to the Friday night program at Spencer Speedway in Williamson, N.Y., where the Street Stocks will take part in the Tribute to Pops Leaty.
A $500 Bonus has been posted for any driver that can beat Rich Sharpe or Andy Cryan if one or both are in attendance at Spencer on Friday. Both Sharp and Cryan have indicated that they have intentions of being at the race. The bonus comes from the dominance of their respective divisions throughout the past two-seasons. The criteria is to out-race one or both of these top racers and beat them cleanly to claim the $500 bonus and potentially make the win worth $1,000.
Qualifying race winners will also be receiving a $50 gift certificate courtesy of F/A Products (www.faproducts.com) in the Street Stock division.
The Sodus Microd club will have a display as well a brief demonstration prior to the feature racing action.
The event night is being presented by Rochester Steel Treating Works, Inc. (www.rstwinc.com) and Cavallaro-Neubauer Chevrolet and Buick.
The gates open at 5 pm at Spencer Speedway for fans with racing to follow at 7 pm. General Admission tickets for the event are just $22, with a Senior and Military ticket being $19 (adult $2 coupons are available for the event throughout the region); Children 6-11 years of age are $8 and children 5 and under are free.
