BIG THREE RACE WEEKEND FOR RACE OF CHAMPIONS DIRT 602 SPORTSMAN MODIFIED SERIES COMPETITORS AHEAD THIS WEEKEND
Race of Champions Dirt 602 Sportsman Modified Series competitors have a big weekend in store with three consecutive nights of racing at Ohswken Speedway on Friday night, August 24; Merrittville, Saturday, August 25 and Humberstone on Sunday, August 26.
All three races will pay a minimum of $1,000-to-win with the Sunday event at Humberstone paying $2,000-to-win.
Friday at Ohsweken Speedway the Series will take part in the Club 54 30 presented by Gale’s Auto Aftermarket. Chad Chevalier of Port Colborne, Ontario scored the feature victory at Ohsweken in 2017.
The Series will make its first visit to Merrittville Speedway as part of the Harry Sittler Memorial, Driver’s Appreciated Night being presented by St. Catharines Husky.
The event at Humberstone Speedway will be part of the Pete Cosco Memorial Night. Chevalier, Cody McPherson of Saint Catharines, Ontario; Brad Rouse of Saint Catharines, Ontario and James Michael Friesen of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario have all won Series events at Humberstone.

Directions: The track is located is at 1987 Chiefswood Road, Ohskweken, Ontario – just minutes South of the 403 (London/Toronto) and approximately 60-miles Northwest of Buffalo, N.Y. and Fort Erie, Ontario.

Directions: The track is located is just a short drive from Niagara Falls and St. Catherines, Ontario as well as just 20-miles from downtown Buffalo and the Peace Bridge at 1716 HWY 3 in Port Colborne, Ontario.
