Gartner Picks Up Fourth Dacotah Speedway Victory of the Season
Terry Davenport led the field to the green flag in the Dacotah Speedway Hobby Stock feature. Early cautions gave Josh Roehrich the opportunity to steal the lead away but Davenport battled back and retook the lead on lap five. Points leader John Gartner Jr and Brent Vetter quickly passed Roehrich for second which led to a three car battle for the lead. Davenport, Gartner and Vetter raced three wide before Gartner powered into the lead with six laps to go. Late race cautions regrouped the field and on the final restart, Gartner pulled away and drove on to victory for the fourth time at Dacotah Speedway. Brent Vetter finished second for the fifth time this season.Curt Michaelsohn made a late race pass to finish third ahead of Josh Roehrich while Chad Hausauer rounded out the top five.
