7/20/2018 Winged Sprint Race Canceled

Races for Friday, July 20th have been canceled.

All week, we have been watching the forecast call for 50%-80% chance of thunderstorms and rain showers throughout the afternoon and evening. Typically, when rain is forecasted early in the week, it breaks up as Friday gets closer. This week, we have a low pressure system coming across the state which will be circling around Friday and Saturday which is different than a typical line of storms that passes through. Since the forecast has stayed consistent, we are canceling early to give race teams and fans who have a long distance to travel ample notice that we do not feel we will be able to get the race program in. It would not be fair to wait until Friday afternoon while it is raining to cancel the races. Cancelling the races is always a tough call and we know that we will catch flack for cancelling before it starts raining, however we feel this is the best decision based on the information we have.

This Winged Sprint show will not be re-scheduled, the next Winged Sprint show is August 31st.

All online tickets for July 20th will be fully refunded including the service fee.
