Lebanon, Oregon- It will be a great weekend of racing at Willamette Speedway as two events are on tap. Saturday, June 24th, will have the 1/3-mile clay oval in action with the Wingless Sprint Series, Super Sports, Sportsman, and Hornets on the card. Then Sunday the Karts return to racing after a brief hiatus.

The Wingless Sprint Series have had only one event at Willamette in the past. Rob Lindsey was the winner of that race which took place in August. The Super Sports have had a different winner in each outing in 2017. Chris Mott, Dan Deibele, Jordan Wright, and Gil Pickett have all been victorious.

In the Sportsman ranks James Slover has accumulated the most wins, with two. Jeff Titus and Sandy Sanders have one each. Last but not least are the Hornets where Tracy Muse has reigned supreme. Muse has visited victory lane three times while John Gartner is the only other winner in the division.

For Saturday Pit Gates open at 1:00 PM, Pit Meeting is at 5:00, Front Gates 3:30, and Racing is slated to get started around 6:00. Tickets are $14.00 for Adults, Senior/Juniors (13-17)/Military $10.00, Youths (6-12) $5.00, while Children (5 and Under) are FREE. A Family Pass (two Adults and up to four Youths) is $35.00 while Pit Passes will be sold for $30.00 each.

Sunday’s Karts the Pit Gates open at 9:00 AM, Driver Registration is from 9:30 to 11:30 with Pit Meeting to follow, and Hot Laps at Noon. Pit Passes are $15.00 each while driver entry fees are $35.00 for trophy divisions and $40.00 for classes that pay out money.
