U.S. 36 Raceway and Valley Speedway On Deck For ASCS Warrior Region

TULSA, Okla. (June 6, 2017) A Missouri double is on tap for the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps as U.S. 36 Raceway in Cameron, Mo. and Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, Mo. welcome the regional tour for the first time this season.

U.S. 36 Raceway on Friday, June 9 is the first of three nights at the high-banked oval in 2017. In the series last visit to U.S. 36 Raceway on June 10, 2016, Jack Dover drove his No. 53 to victory over a 20 car field. The much anticipated Bud Shootout at U.S. 36 Raceway, Heat Races are worth more than Passing Points as the winner of each will pocket $500.

Friday, June 9 at U.S. 36 Raceway rolls to green at 7:15 P.M. (CDT) with Hot Laps. Other classes on the card include USRA B-Mods, Pure Stocks, and E-Stocks. Admission is $20 for adults. Kids 7-12 get in for $10 while ages six and under get into the grandstands for free.

Valley Speedway on Saturday, June 10 is the only stop of the season at the Grain Valley oval and is presented by Nicholls Performance Transmission. Hot Laps begin at 6:30 P.M. (CDT) with admission set at $16 for adults. Kids five and under get in free. More information on Valley Speedway can be found online at http://www.valleyspeedway.com or on the track’s Facebook page.

Going into the weekend double, Jonathan Cornell leads the way by 224 points with back-to-back wins with the Warrior Region adding to his advantage over Taylor Walton in the 2017 tour standings. Danny Thoman third has Miles Paulus and Randy Martin making up the top-five.
