Banks, Oregon- Sunset Speedway Park will have an incredibly interesting event on Saturday, July 30th. The 4-Bee Bonanza 60 will have thirty laps with the 4-Bee’s turning left before there will be a stoppage. After the stoppage is complete they will turn around and run thirty laps turning right. This is the first occasion such an endeavor has been undertaken in the history of the “Banks Bullring”. Besides the 4-Bee division, there will also be the Bridgeport Logistics Street Stocks, IMCA Sport Mods, Pure Stocks, and Dwarf Cars.

In the 4-Bee ranks, Tylor Owen has been having a wonderful campaign. Owen has four main event wins while Cody Jones and William Wolfe have one each.

Having an equally impressive 2016 season is Arnie Case in the Bridgeport Logistics Street Stocks. Case has collected five main event wins. Drivers that have won once include Benny Sauter, Travis Koch, Chris West, and Roger Hubbard.

In the IMCA Sport Mods Michael Melton has amassed the most victories, with three. Both Mike Graham and John Henry are two-time winners. Chris Frisbie has won at SSP once.

Trevor LaBarge has been the master of the Pure Stocks. LaBarge has paid five visits to the winner’s circle in six starts. The only other driver to have bested the field is Joey Tardio.

Last but not least Shane Youngren has been quite the dominating force in the Dwarf Cars. Youngren has won an impressive five times and is the only driver to so more than once this year. Single race winners include Guy Tow Jr., Jimmy Brinster, and Marty Holmason.

Pit Gates on Saturday will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 4:00, and racing starts at 6:30. Tickets for this event are Adults $13.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-18) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
