MERS Cancelled at Barberton Speedway this Weekend
The Main Event Racing Series will sit idle this weekend and after three attempts at a season opener for the series.. Officials from Barberton Speedway have cancelled the race that was scheduled this weekend which would have been a make up for the race for last weekends cancellation due to weather.
Officials state that scheduling conflicts with other shows would make it difficult to run the race this weekend. Officials from the Main Event Racing Series and Barberton Speedway are looking at possibilities of a race later in the season.
The Main Event Racing Series have sat idle throughout the 2016 racing season being cancelled at Sandusky Speedway in May due to cold conditions, cancelled last weekend due to rain and now being cancelled due to conflicts with the schedule.
The series will now attempt the late season opener back at Sandusky Speedway on Saturday June 18th, 2016.
