Willamette Speedway would get back to racing on Saturday September 5th for the Labor Day Classic. It was their first race since raining out the previous weekend. Classes on the card included the Super Dirt Late Models, Super Sports, Sportsman, and Street Stocks.

Rob Mayea of Bend returned to victory lane in the Super Dirt Late Models. It would be the fourth race of the season that Mayea has parked the J&S Farms/Cornett Racing Engines #37 Rocket in victory lane and the first time since early July.

Gil Pickett continued his domination of the Super Sports ranks. Pickett would capture his seventh win of 2015. It has been an amazing year for the Pickett Custom Cabinets #82 Swartz team. Just as successful this season is Sandy Sanders from Junction City. Sanders, driving the Royalty Homes #43 Avenger, would win his seventh victory of the campaign in the Sportsman class.

Last but not least the Street Stocks would see a new winner. Mark Gaylord of Portland got the job done in his Gaylord Construction/Les Schwab Tires of Portland #34 Camaro. He is the ninth different driver to grace victory lane in 2015.
