Winebarger, Pickett, Hackney, Yeack, And Westscott Winners At Willamette Speedway

Willamette Speedway would continue the 2015 racing season on Saturday August 22nd. The night would consist of the IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, Sprotsman, Street Stocks, and the Late Model Lites. It was a great show for the crowd in attendance.
Collen Winebarger from Corbett would get the job done in the IMCA Modified ranks to capture his eighth victory in the class in his Discount Race Car Parts/FinishLine Graphics/Checkered Flag Paving & Asphalt/Sweere Trucking #S Shaw by Taylor. Salem's Gil Pickett got back to victory lane in the Super Sports for what was his sixth win of the season in the Picket Cabinets #82 Swartz machine. Glen Hackney of Lebanon would earn his first win of the year in the Sportsman class driving his Hackney Racing/Wirth Wireless #2 Swartz.
Kyle Yeack, also from Lebanon, would make it an even ten wins in the Street Stocks after another wonderful performance in the Cascade Outdoor Power Equipment/Laura Gillott at Keller Williams Reality/Unlimited Business Service #47 Cutlass. Finally the Fabtek #40 entry of Bob Westscott from Milwuakie was the winner in the Late Model Ligfgt division.
Willamette Speedway returns to racing on Saturday August 29th. Classes involved include the Super Dirt Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Sportsman, and Street Stocks.
Pit Gates will open at 1:00 PM, the Pit Meeting will take place at 2:30, Front Gates open at 3:30, and Racing starts at 6:00. Tickets for this event are Adults $14.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
