In addition to the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series in action at Sunset Speedway Park's Doug Walters Classic/Maletis Beverage Night on Saturday August 22nd so were three other divisions. They would include the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, and the 4-Bees.

Bubba Foster was the car to beat in the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds main event. But just when it seemed like the Dayton driver had checked out things got interesting in the final laps. Foster, in his Busy Bee Cleaning/Pam Pam's Autowrecking/TNT Motorsports #68 Allen, would be briefly held up in traffic and nearly got collected in a wreck on the last corner of the last lap. He managed to beat the competition to win his second race of the season at SSP.

In the Street Stocks it would be a battle among five potential victors. West Linn's Brian Roden managed to keep his JNR Construction/Molecular Motions #14 Camaro in front of the field to win the feature. It would be the sixth occasion he has done so in the current campaign.

Finally in the 4-Bee's Captain Turnabout dropped his sails and found a favoring wind. The Vancouver, Washington buccaneer had the advantage of several cars battling one another so he could construct a good sized lead. At one point another vessel tried to overtake him but the Captain weathered the storm to claim his second victory of 2015.

Sunset Speedway Park gets back to racing on Saturday August 29th for the TPR Industrial Supply 30 which is a $350.00 to win Dwarf Car race. Also on the card is the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Mods, Pure Stocks, and both classes of Micro Sprints.

Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 4:00, and racing starts at 6:30 each night. Tickets are Adults $13.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-18) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
