Sammy Swindell to Race at Jackson Nationals!
Windom, MN (August 25, 2015) – Add another National Sprint Car Hall of Famer to the mix for the Jackson Nationals at Jackson Speedway in Minnesota, Friday and Saturday, September 4 and 5! Sammy Swindell has confirmed that he will be in attendance at the event sanctioned by the FVP National Sprint League aboard the CJB Motorsports #1!
The sprint car legend, backed by the newly formed team of CJB Motorsports and Mainstream Holdings, Inc., will debut a new paint scheme while competing in the biggest weekend in Jackson Speedway history!!
The two-day event boasts a $130,000 total purse, with $25,000 going to Saturday night’s winner, $10,000 to second place, and $1,000 to start the event!
Sammy is a three-time World of Outlaws champion, a five-time Chili Bowl midget champion, 1983 Knoxville Nationals champion, three-time King’s Royal winner, and has won countless other big events throughout his 40+ year career!
Much More Than a Race!
Bring the whole family and stay for the Jackson Nationals weekend featuring more than just racing! Activities begin at 3 p.m. on Friday with plenty of sponsor giveaways, a kids’ bounce house and a full bar and beer garden!
Saturday’s events will begin at 1 p.m. and include Friday’s activities, plus live music, a bean bag tournament, a dunk tank featuring your favorite drivers, chances to win NSL prize packages, a silent auction, giveaways and much more!
Also, don’t miss the fireworks show both Friday and Saturday night, with an outstanding display during Saturday’s intermission!
