National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum Sprint Car Madness!

Veteran sprint car driver Terry McCarl and sprint car owner Daryl Arend will headline “National Sprint Car Museum Madness 3” at the FVP National Sprint League sanctioned ‘410’ event at the Hancock County District Fair in Britt, Iowa, on Tuesday, July 21. Both Terry and Daryl will be present with the vintage Arend-owned sprint car that was McCarl’s first ride. The #1A sprint car will be on loan from the Kossuth County Agriculture & Motorsports Museum in Algona, Iowa.

Said museum curator Tom Schmeh, “I am thrilled that we will now be heading to Britt and partnering with Chad Meyer and the Algona museum. Not only will we have the Terry McCarl/Daryl Arend car, but we will be giving out a bunch of National Sprint Car Museum prizes to lucky fans that night. If you are sprint car fan in north central Iowa, you will want to be at the Hancock County District Fair on Tuesday, July 21, for the NSL-sanctioned winged 410-cubic-inch sprint car races and Museum Madness 3.”

The museum booth at Britt will feature the restored sprint car and a table with the following informational brochures: museum membership program, Racers at Rest program, Stay in School program, Expand the Dream program, A Brick at a Time program, and the museum store catalog. In addition, over one hundred museum prizes will be given away to lucky fans that night.
