ASCS Winged Sprint Cars and Non-Wing Champ Sprints Set for Fast Friday.

Terry Mattox – SAPULPA, Okla. (July 15, 2015) – The Creek County Speedway is set to host two nights of racing action this weekend as the ASCS Red River Region Winged Sprint Cars and Non-Winged Champ Sprints are set to take on the quarter mile oval on Friday night, July 17 and the Fast Five Weekly Series will converge on Saturday night, July 18.

The last visit by the American Bank of Okla. ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products Winged Sprint Cars was on Friday, April 10 as Johnny Herrera took top honors topping a 24 car field. Seth Bergman crossed in second with Brandon Hanks taking the final spot on the podium. Kevin Ramey and Kade Morton concluded the top five.

ASCS Red River Regional drivers such as: Shawn Petersen, Joe Wood, Jr., Kade Morton, Mickey Walker, Andy Shouse, Brandon Hanks, Chance Morton, Alex Sewell, Charles McManus, Harli White and Fred Mattox along with more will invade the quarter-mile dirt oval.

The Non-Winged Champ Sprints will also join the night’s program. In the last appearance by the Non-Winged Champ Sprints on April 10, Danny Smith topped a 14 car field with a last lap pass on Alex DeCamp who came home in second with Andrew Deal rounding out the top three.

Gates are set to open at 5PM with the green flag dropping at 8PM.

Adult tickets are $15, Kids 10-14 and $6 and Children under 10 are always FREE.

On Saturday night, July 18 the Fast Five Weekly Series will converge on the “Quick Quarter” with action in the Winged Champ Sprint Cars, Modifieds, Dwarf Cars, Factory Stocks and Mini Stocks.

Gates are set to open at 4:30PM and Racing at 7PM on Saturday night.

Adults are just $10, Kids 10-14: $6 and Children under 10 are always FREE!

Creek County Speedway is a fast quarter mile oval located Sapulpa, Okla. on historic Route 66. Creek County Speedway has been bringing high octane excitement to race fans since 1986.
