Yreka, California- For the second straight year Speedweek Northwest will begin in the Golden State of California. Siskiyou Motor Speedway will be the site of the first race of six for the Western Sprint Tour sanctioned extravaganza on Sunday June 28th. Last year Kyle Hirst kept the Finley Farms winning streak intact. In fact the Finley Farms team has won every single Sprint Car race at SMS since 2011 through various sanctioning bodies.

The Baymont Inn is offerring hotel specials for race car teams and crews for Saturday and Sunday for folks looking to stay in Yreka. Be sure and pick up your $5.00 coupons from Mike Gehringer after the races for the Black Bear Diner located across from the Baymont Inn.

Tickets for the race include $20.00 for Adults, $15.00 for Seniors and Vets, $10.00 for Children ages 12-6, and Children 5 and under are FREE. Advance tickets can be purchased at Whipple's Muffler and Fabrication, Yreka Chamber of Commerce, CarQuest-Yreka Auto Parts, and Cheffey Machine. Pit Gates open at 3:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, and Racing to begin around 6:00.
