SAPULPA, Okla. (June 16, 2015) Taking on the Devil’s Bowl Speedway with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real this past Saturday, Blake Hahn posted his 12th top-ten finish of the 2015 season.

Overcoming a high draw that placed the Lucas Oil Products No. 52 seventh in the fifth Heat Race, Hahn climbed to fourth to put himself 12th in the A-Feature line-up.

“I was comfortable with the car in the Heat. It was carrying good speed and we ended up a couple spots shy of the redraw so we made some bar adjustments before the feature and it seemed even better than it was in the Heat,” said Hahn.

Moving forward from the start, Hahn commented on the track, saying, “I was able to move around on the track in the feature a lot more than I’ve normally been able too at the Devil’s Bowl. I feel like this time compared to last year the track seemed a lot better.”

Taking advantage of restarts and lapped traffic, Blake challenged for third on Lap 15, but would come up short on the move.

“Lapped traffic helped in our favor by clustering the field, and I got the run for third, but I just jumped the cushion in one and two, and let a few cars back by me. After that, I couldn’t get back to them so I just maintained for sixth.”

Onward to the remainder of the ASCS Sizzlin’ Summer Speedweek, Hahn takes on the National Tour at the Lawton Speedway on Wednesday, June 17 followed Creek County Speedway on Thursday, Salina Speedway on Friday, and Lucas Oil Speedway on Saturday.

“I like all these track a lot. I’ve run pretty decent at all of them except Salina, Kan. but it’s still a pretty fun track. I’m especially looking forward to Lawton and Creek with some recent success I’ve had a Lawton, and Creek’s the first track I ever raced at and plus it’s always fun to race at home.”
