ASCS Red River Region Heads For Timberline and Devil’s Bowl

TULSA, Okla. (May 18, 2015) The American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products will hit the road for the “Lone Star State” this weekend with a pair of nights starting Friday, May 22 at the Timberline Speedway in Corley, Texas followed by the Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas on Saturday, May 23.
After four nights of action, Johnny Herrera has taken the early lead in 2015 driver standings with a 25 point advantage over Seth Berman. Herrera with a single victory on the season has place the top five in three events with a top ten in all. Picking up his second regional victory of the season this past weekend at the Lubbock Speedway, Seth Bergman has only finished outside the top-five one time with the ASCS Red River Region in 2015.
Kevin Ramey currently holds third with Tony Bruce, Jr. and Blake Hahn making up the top-five in tour standings with Hahn currently tied with Andy Shouse.
Matt Covington holds seventh with Kade Morton, Joe Wood, Jr., and Shawn Petersen making up the top-ten.
Thanks to W&W Timber, teams on Friday night will have a little more to look forward to as events at Timberline Speedway will pay $3,000 to win, and $300 to start. The evening will include Factory Stocks, Limited Modifieds, and Super Stocks. Gates open at 5:00 P.M. with races getting underway at 8:00 P.M. (CT). Saturday, May 23 at the Devil’s Bowl Speedway will feature a $2,000 to win feature event with gates opening at 6:00 P.M. and racing getting underway at 8:30 P.M. (CT). The USA Sprint Cars will join the ASCS Red River Region along with the USA Limited Modifieds.
