Lebanon, Oregon- In 2015 Brian Thompson has traveled around a fair bit running three races at two different race tracks. So far the Lebanon chauffeur has managed to finish in the top ten twice including a season best second at Cottage Grove on last Friday April 24th. His other top ten was a sixth at CGS on April 4th.

“The season's still early but it has been really good,” commented Thompson, “this year we stepped up from the Super Sports and got a bigger engine, better shocks, and a new chassis.”

Thompson made the full time jump from the Super Sports to the Late Models over the wintertime. Last year he managed to finish second in points in the Super Sports, won a main event, and posted eleven top fives in fifteen starts. In one 2015 Super Dirt Late Model start at Willamette Brian finished in fourteenth.

“We've had a great time at Cottage Grove this year and can't wait to get back down there a few more times this year,” he would continue, “it'd be great to carry the momentum of our second place finish last week into Willamette but these guys here are pretty stout. It should be a fun year.”

Thompson will enter the Saturday May 2nd Fight Hunger Night fourteenth in local track points but keep in mind that's just after one race. Keep an eye on the Crocker's Cars/Brownsville Calf Ranch/Burke Logging/Scott Ski Motor Company/James Gang Pizza #44T Swartz this season.

“We're learning every time we hit the track and I have to thank my crew guy Henry Silacci for helping me out. We are having fun every time we race.”

On Saturday the Pit Gates will open at 1:00 PM, the Pit Meeting will take place at 2:30, Front Gates open at 3:30, and Racing starts at 6:00.
