Saturday April 25th Race At CGS Rained Out; Huddle Automotive Repair Fan Appreciation Night Is Next
Unfortunately mother nature would not cooperate for the Saturday April 25th Spring Showdown event at Cottage Grove Speedway. All efforts were made to try and the show in but rain showers throughout the day soaked the grounds and prevented any action from occurring. The next race for the historical 1/4-mile clay oval will be next Saturday May 2nd for the annual Fan Appreciation Night presented by Huddle Automotive Repair.
Classes in action include the 360 Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, Late Models, Street Stocks, and the Quality RV Repair Hornets. Admission prices are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $10.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $5.00, 5 & Under FREE, and a Family Pass (consisting of two adults and up to four youths) is $30.00. Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Qualifying 5:30, and Racing begins right around 6:45.
