2015 Willamette Season Opener Rained Out After Completion Of Dashes

Lebanon, Oregon- The races for Saturday April 11th at Willamette Speedway were cancelled due to rain showers that would not stop. The program was moving along until several rain showers took place during trophy dashes which prevented any more racing. FOR FOLKS THAT RETAINED THEIR GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET STUB YOU WILL RECEIVE A COMPLIMENTARY GENERAL ADMISSION ENTRY INTO THE RACES FOR NEXT SATURDAY NIGHT. Next weekend the historic 1/3-mile facility has two events planned.

First Friday April 17th will have the debut of the Karts in the infield track. General admission to the Friday Kart race will be FREE of charge. Pit Passes are $10.00 and Car and Driver fees will be $30.00. The Pit Gate will open up around 4:00 PM and Racing is scheduled to begin around 6:30.

Saturday April 18th will feature racing action for the big track. Classes on the card include Super Late Models, Super Sports, Sportsman, and Street Stocks. It should be a great couple of nights of racing for fans to enjoy.

On Saturday the Pit Gates will open at 1:00 PM, the Pit Meeting will take place at 2:30, Front Gates open at 3:30, and Racing starts at 6:00. Tickets for this event are Adults $14.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
