Friday April 10th CGS Kart Opener Canceled; Retro T-Shirt Night For Saturday The 11th Still On

Cottage Grove, Oregon- Unfortunately the 2015 Kage Kart season opener at Cottage Grove Speedway will have to wait as the event scheduled for Friday April 10th has been canceled due to track conditions. All efforts were made to try and get the show in but recent rain storms saturated the Kart track too much and would prevent track equipment onto the racing surface. The next scheduled event for the Kage Karts at CGS is Friday May 8th.
The races for Saturday April 11th are still on. Classes on the card include the 2015 debut of the Clark Printing Extreme Sprints and Street Stocks while IMCA Modifieds will be in action for the second time this season. Also on tap will be the Pro-4 division. Don't miss out on another night of exciting racing action.
Admission prices are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $10.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $5.00, 5 & Under FREE, and a Family Pass (consisting of two adults and up to four youths) is $30.00. Fans that show up with a Cottage Grove Speedway/Riverside t-shirt or sweatshirt will receive a discount at the ticket window. Also eligible for a discount is fans showing up with either a 2014 Marvin Smith Memorial Grove Classic or Mark Howard Memorial t-shirt/sweatshirt. Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Qualifying 5:30, and Racing begins right around 6:45.
