CGS Awaits Retro T-Shirt Night On Saturday April 11th; Kage Kart Season Opener Friday The 10th

Cottage Grove, Oregon- After an incredible opening night the Cottage Grove Speedway is excited to host their second event of 2015, Retro T-Shirt Night, on Saturday April 11th. Fans that show up with a Cottage Grove Speedway/Riverside t-shirt or sweatshirt will receive a discount at the ticket window. Also eligible for a discount is fans showing up with either a 2014 Marvin Smith Memorial Grove Classic or Mark Howard Memorial t-shirt/sweatshirt.
But before that race there is scheduled to be the first Kage Kart race of the year on Friday April 10th. This event is of course weather and track conditions permitting. General admission to the Kart race will be FREE of charge. Pit Passes are $10.00 and Car and Driver fees will be $30.00. The Pit Gate will open up around 3:00 PM and the Pit Meeting is at 6:00 PM with Hot Laps and Racing to follow.
Classes on the card for Saturday the 11th include the 2015 debut of the Clark Printing Extreme Sprints and Street Stocks while IMCA Modifieds will be in action for the second time this season. Jesse Williamson won the main event last week in dominating fashion. Also paying a visit to the first time this season to CGS is the Pro-4 group which is always a treat. Don't miss out on another night of exciting racing action.
Admission prices are Adults $13.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $10.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $5.00, 5 & Under FREE, and a Family Pass (consisting of two adults and up to four youths) is $35.00. Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Qualifying 5:30, and Racing begins right around 6:45.
