Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway returns to action with not just one but two races. Things get started on Friday September 12th as the Karts will be on the card. Then on Saturday the 13th the 1/3-mile clay oval will host St. Jude Children’s Hospital Night with a benefit auction to be included in the night’s program. Classes on tap will be the X-Factor Race Cars Super Late Models, Wirth Wireless IMCA Modifieds, Crocker’s Cars Super Sports, and Albany & Eastern Railroad Sportsman.

In X-Factor Race Cars Super Late Models Joey Tanner and John Duty have accumulated the most feature wins with three each while Rob Mayea and Justin Duty have won twice. Single main event winners include Trevor Glaser, Casey Vitale, Jeremy Shank, Steve Moore, and Collen Winebarger.

Meanwhile a fantastic point battle in the Wirth Wireless IMCA Modifieds has Collen Winebarger with a narrow two point lead over Craig Cassell with just two races left in the campaign. Matt Mitchell has the most victories in 2014, with three, while Winebarger, Jeremy Shank, and Alex Stanford have two wins apiece. Cassell, Kyle Yeack, Dustin Cady, and Monte Bischoff have recorded one trip to the winner’s circle each.

Recording an incredible eight victories in his debut season in the Crocker’s Cars Super Sports Bricen James is in dominant form this year. Gil Pickett has two victories while Brian Thompson, Randy Barley, and Tim Archer all have one win.

With four wins this season Brian Smith is atop the win chart in the Albany & Eastern Railroad Sportsman division. Jeff Rash has three victories while Brian Winkler, Briley Pompe, and Ron Berry each have two. Drivers that have just a single trip to victory lane include Steve Moore, James Slover, Jeff Marson, and Sandy Sanders.

General admission to the Friday Kart race will be FREE of charge. Pit Passes are $10.00 and Car and Driver fees will be $30.00. The Pit Gate will open up around 4:00 PM and Racing is scheduled to begin around 6:30.

On Saturday the Pit Gates will open at 1:00 PM, the Pit Meeting will take place at 2:30, Front Gates open at 3:30, and Racing starts at 6:00. Tickets for this event are Adults $12.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
