Final Two Legs Of WWMS To Take Place At Willamette Speedway; $2,000.00 To Win On Saturday

Lebanon, Oregon- Already the 2014 Wild West Modified Speedweek has been a great one with four winners in four nights. The final two rounds will take place at Willamette Speedway in Lebanon on Friday July 25th and Saturday the 26th. The historic 1/3-mile clay oval is expected to produce some great action and good car counts as Saturday’s winner will receive $2,000.00.

Jesse Williamson has won the last two Wild West Modified Speedweeks while the inaugural edition went to Brian Poppa. In three Speedweek races at Willamette there have been three different winners which are Brian Poppa, Ken Schrader, and Alex Stanford.

As mentioned above after four rounds of the Wild West Modified Speedweek in 2014 there have been four different winners. Travis Peery, Mark Carrell, Nick Trenchard, and Alex Stanford have all emerged victorious. In domestic competition at Willamette point leader Matt Mitchell, Collen Winebarger, and Jeremy Shank each have two wins apiece. Monte Bischoff, Craig Cassell, and Kyle Yeack have one trip to victory lane apiece.

Racing will begin around 6:30 PM on Friday while on Saturday it will be the normal 6:00 PM. Tickets each night are Adults $12.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a Family Pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
