Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway will be the place to be this weekend as you can take in two nights of excitement at the historic facility. Things will get started on Friday September 13th for the final Kart race of 2013 while Saturday, the 14th, will have the DIRTcar Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Mini Trucks back in action.

General admission to the Friday Kart race event will be FREE of charge. Pit Passes are $10.00 and Car and Driver fees will be $40.00. The pit gates open up around 4:00 PM and racing is scheduled to begin around 6:45.

Pit gates on Saturday will open at 1:00 PM, front gates 3:30 PM, and racing should be getting started around 6:00 PM. Admission prices are Adults $14.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $12.00, Youths (12 and Under) $6.00, Family Pass (Two Adults and Up To Four Youths) $35.00, and Pit Passes are $25.00.

Trevor Glaser may have been absent from victory lane in the past three races but he looks to earn his twelfth win Saturday night in what has been a dominant season by the Tangent native. Russ Sell has managed to beat Glaser twice this season while drivers earning a single triumph include John Duty, Jeremy Shank, Justin Duty, and Joey Tanner.

The IMCA Modified division has seen the wins be spread around twelve different drivers earning victories. Craig Cassell has the most victories with his three wins while Monte Bischoff has won three times too but one of them was a non-point affair. Kyle Yeack and Joey Tanner have two wins to their credit with Jeffery Rivers, Brody Pompe, Dustin Dittman, Brett James, Mark Wauge, Mark Carrell, Jesse Williamson, and Alex Stanford scoring just one trip to the winner’s circle this season.

The Street Stocks will be back in town and David Cronk has won the most headed into Saturday night. Cronk has finished first seven times this year but he’s had some tough competition along the way. Bricen James has four wins over Kevin Roberts’ three. The only driver to have won once during the current campaign has been Justin Evans.

The Mini Trucks have yet to see anyone beat the members of the “Prineville Posse” this year with the exception of the last time they were in action Sid Bucholz was the victor. Don Croy has amassed eight victories in ten starts while his partner in crime Kenny Keefer has won twice.

The Willamette Speedway has operated since the 1960’s and is a facility where high car counts and great racing are the norm. The venue will hosts weekly action comprising of DIRTcar Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Sportsman, Super Sports, Street Stocks, and Mini Trucks.
